OK, let me start by saying it's Spring, and we have done some serious spring cleaning: we have thrown out 100's of greeting cards. Have condensed our ticket stubs (concerts, musicals, theme parks....) to a zip-lock baggy. We sold a bike (that one hurt). And ____. But the best part has been sharing our ticket stubs, letters, greeting cards to those that were with us or sent it - the response has been so dang heartwarming~! Makes the stashing worth it - AND NOW YOU, our dear friends, are the safe keeper of these treasures of memory.
As we purge, I find it amusing that it aligns with the timing of the new Pope, who I understand to be a man of simplicity. Simplicity may become a bit of a motto this year - I like it.
